Binz @ 07:45

The people rise up against their government. There is injustice and corruption in the world.

People are unemployed, poor and cannot afford to feed their children. Austere governments demand that people that can't work must work whether they want to or not. Politicians lie, cheat and steal. Bankers get fat on inflated charges. Food and fuel prices rise but wages fall or are frozen.

These are all but trivial matters for what is most important....what is more newsworthy...what is causing masses to rise up in disgust and revolt....what causes grown men to gnash their teeth, rend their raiment and wail in the street.... is the NUMBER OF BINS some councils in WEALTHIER areas of the UK insist residents have. It's terrible (so I'm told). 9 bins in some parts of the country! STOP THE PRESS! 9 BINS!

9 BINS!

Chuffing 'eck!

Okay, I gathered that from the other comments by now. But I'm still confused. 9 at the same time? That'd be ridiculous. 9 per year? If so, so what? Context, man, context!

9 bins is just ridiculous. The Masses should uprise and down tools and complain...

Hell, we should do that anyway. At this rate they're going to tax us on the air we breathe (or have they introduced that one when we weren't looking?)

I thought after the events in Egypt, Libya and Yemen we might have been in for a chance of some social unrest.

But then someone would be bound to capture and upload it to Youtube, there would be a public backlash, we'd all be in trouble and sent to our rooms with no computer games or cake.

Publicising political unrest at time when, globally, civilian unrest is rife and the risk of job losses, high youth unemployment and disatisfaction and poverty hang like a sword of Damocles above the middle classes heads....would be like returning to the early eighties.....

oh wait....

It takes me over two weeks to fill our dustbin. I recycle loads of stuff! However, I don't use the council collection system as I would have to carry the whole lot to the end of the lane (it's a long lane)! Instead, we put every recycled item in the bins provided at a town car park which is situated quite close to the local Co-op where I do my shopping - thus ending up with a load of packaging to be recycled the next time! It's a bit of a vicious circle, isn't it?

However, I am prepared to offer the contents of my bin to any protester who feels the need to lob an assortment of two week old gunk at politicians, (of both the local and national variety), smug rich bar stewards, royals of any nationality, and bankers in general!

The peasants are revolting as they say!
