While that seems steep for a bit of corrugated iron on legs, what you have to take into account is the price of the land for which the caravan would be sited.

Isn't that caravan a bit expensive? If it was static you could buy a house ...

Ah yes, but as I said to another comment, the price includes the land, which is quite high in that area. The point of having a static though is because in the UK it's classed as a temporary residence and that means it is exempt from council tax. :D.
